Guess What! In the awesome holidays I had my birthday party on the of 16th july it was so much fun. My birhday party was so fun because all my friends came over, it was at my house the celebration was a Karaoke party. My friends and I sang lots and we all sang together the sony we sang was Miley Cyrus The Climb. We all had lots of lollies and drinks and it was exciting.
After that Mya had a sleep over that was really fun as well.
On sunday the 31st of July my brother and I went to Bigups. Bigups is so much fun it is a play erea where you can play on some fun inflatible things. My favourite part in Bigups was the big inflatible balls.The inflaible balls were fun because you could roll in them to move around.

Lue Sart
and
Blue Mart
in the ocean.

In a watery wet ocean there are all sorts of weird
creatures like starfish, jellyfish and squid. Two weird friends were living in the blue sea their names were Blue Mart and Lue Sart. Blue Mart the dolphin takes Lue Sart around the sea every dark morning, Lue Sart is a cute, young boy who makes food for both of them.
One sunny morning there was a dark spot in the middle of the blue sea. Suddenly…that black spot got lighter and lighter like the yellow sun. After, it was still yellow but it got pink…and it was a humongous starfish!
The star fish was as big as you could imagine and it had a huge sucker like a big vacuum cleaner. Lue Sart and Blue Mart were horrified at the sight of it!
Now, that huge starfish is trying to suck them up. “We really need to get back to the other side of the sea‘’ said Blue Mart. “Whew’’ replied Lue Sart. ‘’We finally got away from that horrible starfish’’.
A few minutes later Lue Sart and Blue Mart had a peaceful, sunny afternoon and had some melting, creamy, cold ice cream. ‘’This was a hard day ‘’ commented Lue Sart. In the end they both had a good nights sleep. They had a lovely life too.
2.5.ll Term 2 Geuss what! In the holidays I went to Rainbows End and it was so fun. First I went on the Pirate Ship and it went so high that I got butterflies in my tummy. Then I went on other rides but ... My favourite rides were the Invader and the Rollercoaster.
Me and my mum went on the Pirate ship most because we liked it and we went on the Rollercoaster together.
Also when I went on the Invader it spins like a spining top and you move side to side. When I first went on the Invader I was scared but other times when I went on I wasn't scared and I was putting my hands in the air also it was so fun.
I didn't go on the Fear Fall because when I come off the Fear Full my legs are like jelly. Also when I am up high I don't like it becuase I get scared and I dont like heights.
Next my mum my brother kerry and I went on the family carts and once me and my brother one and kerry and my mum one so it was a draw.
Then I went on the Log Flum and it was fus as well I even got a key ring. 13.4.11 Term 1 reflection Term one has been the best term this year and we have been learning a lot of stuff. This term I have learnt in writing that i need to put intresting words in my story and other things like verbs, propper nouns, adjectives and stuff like that.
In reading it is fun because we get intresting books and it is fun to read also answer the questions.
Even in maths i was not very clever at my basic facts and now I am getting better because I have been learning them at home and some are easy.
Lets go back to writing... in writting I also like getting into the story and make it intresting.
This term we have been learning about sun smart and native trees when we have been learning about sun smart I liked listning about the sun and what we should were when you are out side in the sun. Also when we have been learning about native trees I liked that there are lots of native trees and they have maori names even we got to draw some native trees and talk about them.
Sometimes we hade fun games of p.e like midnight, netball, non stop cricket and try to catch and throw a ball.
In class or in the I.T.C we go on the computers and type, play games or look for intresting stuff like facts about things and sometimes go on websites.
At school we go on fun trips and this term we went to the Botanic Gardens and learnt about big and small native trees.THAT WAS FUN!!!
On a rainy Monday morning the year 4s went on a trip to the Botanic Gardens.
Firstly mrs Dales class and mrs Landfords class filed out the charts and looked at the trees first.But miss Lindseys class and mrs Clothworthys class went in the room were they played games and stuff like that.
After that we had lunch but we did have morning tea first and my morning tea and lunch was scrumbshis.
Next my class and mrs Dales class went in the room were we played some very fun and funny games.Also mrs Landford took lots of pictuers of us everywere.
When we were at the Botanic gardens with the teacher that was teaching us about trees we got to pick stuff up from the ground like beeries and laeves and maybe little yellow shinny seeds from a tree. That teacher was very nice.
When we had such a fun time at the Botanic Gardens it was time to go back to school and go home. That was so fun that i want to go there everyday.

In Cristchurch their was a terible earthquack and people are terrified and some people are stuck under lots of wood and stuff like that. Also cars are smashed and houses are ruend and thoes people must be very scared as well. Most people have some blood on their face and their feet and their hands. Well most places on their body and i feel very sorry for thoes wonderful people.

CHRISTCHURCH EARTHQUAKE
Guess what happened in Christchurch on Tuesday at about ten to one? There was a horrible earthquake and the people were terrified.
Firstly the ground and the buildings were shaking like jelly and people were screaming and running everywhere.
Next some buildings were tumbling down like you will roll down a hill. After that people were quiet and terrified like the people were when the earthquake was happening.
A few minutes later most of the wonderful buildings that are not wonderful now have been crushed like scrunched paper.
Some people are under lots of wood and probably a few people are under all that stuff and alive. But we don’t know. I feel very sorry for those people in Christchurch and I feel sorry for the people that have friends and family there.

Guess what! At school we have been lurning and writing about the Japan tsunami. The tsunami is quite big and there is a huge wave crushing everything. like cars houses and it is not making some of the buldings fall down because they are so steady and not easy to nock down.

Lue Sart
and
Blue Mart
